Face to Face Therapy

I am based in County Louth and I am able to provide some face to face appointments.

Online Therapy

Therapy sessions are available using online video platforms (Skype/Zoom/Microsoft Teams).
It is important to have access to a private space for any of these types of therapy services, to promote confidentiality.

I conduct these sessions in a private & confidential space, with additional security of using headphones. In agreeing to Remote/Online therapy no participant can record any sessions without prior discussion and consent from all relevant participants.

Advantages of Online/Remote sessions – appointment times can be more flexible to suit your schedule.
You will be contacted via video or with an email link at the start of your appointment time, no need to travel for the appointment.

Telephone Therapy

Therapy sessions are available via telephone.
It is important to have access to a private space for this type of therapy service, to promote confidentiality.

I conduct these sessions in a private & confidential space, with additional security of using headphones. In agreeing to Telephone therapy no participant can record any sessions without prior discussion and consent from all relevant participants.

Consultancy Services

I can chair and oversee incident review groups, promoting learning and understanding of the processes that have impacted on the situation.

I have supported services in developing documentation to reflect the service model and to promote compliance with regulatory requirements. 

I have experience in developing clinical governance processes for a variety of services.

I can offer assessment of individuals and guidance for support plans, including positive behaviour support.

I am qualified to completed cognitive and neuropsychological assessments of adults.

Neuropsychological Assessment

I am qualified and experienced in completing Neuropsychological Assessments, helping individuals to understand their strengths and challenges with their cognitive skills (such as memory, attention, planning, perception, and information processing).

I am a Full Member of the Division of Neuropsychology in the Psychological Society of Ireland. I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology in 2007.

I provide therapeutic support for people living with Neurological Conditions (including Brain Injury, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease). Neurological conditions can have an impact on our emotional well-being as the condition can cause changes in functioning and levels of independence.

I also provide support to families living with Neurological Conditions as the impact of the condition is often felt by the family as well as the individual.

Staff Training

I have developed and delivered training to support staff understanding of key psychological issues including attachment, trauma, brain injury, positive behaviour support, autism, the role of self-compassion and person centre planning.
I have delivered training in the Secure Base Model and Pro-social modelling.

Staff Support

I am interested in promoting resilience and believe that investment in staff support reaps its own rewards, as shown by the evidence base that happy and contented staff are more productive and engaged with their workplace.
I have developed reflective practice supports for frontline staff across several settings (acute hospital, residential services, & multi-disciplinary team sessions).
